What services do you offer?

At The Junction Salon, we offer a wide range of hair services including haircuts, blowouts (wash and style), hair color, highlights, extensions, updos, and more, focusing heavily on hair health. We also perform hair treatments, waxing, and makeup application

How do I make an appointment?

You can book an appointment by clicking here, calling our salon at (919) 449 7144, or stopping by in person. We recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred date and time.

Will I receive an appointment notification?

Our scheduling software is set to deliver notification and confirmation emails, but please add your appointment to your personal calendar. Please also be sure to add allow out emails and text messages to flow though. If you accidentally reply with a ‘STOP’ to text notifications, you will no longer get them. Reply with a ‘START’ to resume receiving notifications.

What is your cancellation policy?

You can reply to the automated notifications when prompted, up to 24 hours in advance of your appointment start time.

We require 24-hour notice for any appointment cancellations or rescheduling. A fee may be applied for late cancellations and full amount of the service will be charged for not showing up for a scheduled appointment.

How do I rebook or reschedule an appointment?

You can call the salon or use our online booking system to rebook or reschedule your appointment. We’ll do our best to accommodate your new requested date and time.

How do I show up for my appointment?

If you have any photos or inspirational images of the hairstyle you’d like, please bring those with you. You may also want to bring any hair products you currently use at home. Otherwise, just come prepared with clean, dry hair.

What color service do I book?

A detailed description of each of our Hair Color services are listed in the booking page, but if you’re still not sure what to book, give us a call / text us at (919) 449 7144 so we can schedule your complimentary in person or virtual consultation.

Is the price I see online all inclusive?

We believe price transparency is crucial. Our prices are as comprehensive as possible, so the amount you pay at checkout should match the price when you booked the appointment (plus any applicable taxes and fees). All our services include a detailed consultation, a full wash, and a professional blow-dry finish, with a couple of exceptions.

Sometimes during a consultation your stylist could change the service to match the desired outcome, in which case the price of the service would change.

If you have very thick, long, dense, or very curly hair we would need additional product and time to complete the services. This would add to the price.

Why is there a range of prices listed with each service?

Our prices vary based on the level of expertise of the stylist. When you choose a stylist on our booking page, you’ll be able to see their specific price for that service.

How long should I wait to wash my hair after I get my color done?

It depends on a few things but waiting 2 days is not a bad idea. It takes about that time for the cuticle to completely close thereby trapping color molecules.

What brand of color products do you use?

We use some of the finest products on the market that are guaranteed to vastly improve the health of your hair.

  • Our permanent, demi-permanent and semi-permanent colors are from Redken and Davines. We use Pulp Riot and Danger Jones for creative colors.
  • The lightener we use is by Davines or Blond Me by Schwarzkopf Professional  
  • Our back bar Shampoo, conditioners, and healthy hair treatments are from Davines, R+Co, Olaplex, Leaf & Flower, Olaplex, Ruezel, Deva Curl and Milkshake  – this is the lineup we use on your hair for styling and also the lineup of products on our shelves.
  • Hair smoothing treatments are by Cezanne and Brazilian Blowout.
  • For curly hair, we use Davines and Deva curl products.
  • We carry the products we use in your hair and our stylists are more than happy to educate you on a routine for your hair during your appointment.

How long do appointments last?

Haircuts are scheduled from 60 minutes (1 hour) to 90 minutes (1.5 hours). Hair color service durations have a larger variation – they could last as little as 120 minutes (2 hours) but could be as long as 5 hours or even more.

What forms of gratuity are accepted?

We accept cash or Venmo for tips.
