Cover it fully.
Or soften the grow-out.

Grey coverage is not one-size-fits-all. Some guests want complete coverage. Some want a softer blend that grows out gracefully. Some want their grey reduced without ever looking obviously colored.

“Grey coverage is not just about covering every silver hair. It is about choosing a color that still feels believable, flattering, and current on you.”

The goal is not to make your hair look artificially young. The goal is to make it look healthy, polished, and natural for where you are now.

Services & Pricing

Grey coverage, done right.

Pricing depends on hair length, density, grey resistance, product needed, and your desired result. Your stylist will walk through all of this at your consultation.

Health-First Philosophy

The result should not look dark, flat, or harsh.

Covering grey well requires skill and taste, not just application. We formulate for a result that looks healthy, believable, and age-aware.

  • Resistant grey expertise: advanced developer ratios and pre-softening for coarse or stubborn greys that won’t budge
  • Tone calibration: we never go darker than necessary; the result should look current, not artificially young
  • Ammonia-free options available for sensitive scalps or guests preferring a gentler formula
  • Professional color lines from Schwarzkopf, Redken, and Davines, with bond-supporting options when your hair calls for it
  • Mineral buildup removal before color for a cleaner, more even result, especially important for grey hair
  • Salt-and-pepper blending: we work with your natural pattern, not against it, for a result that flatters rather than fights your hair

Maintenance

Your schedule depends on your goal, not a rule.

Most full grey coverage clients return every 4–6 weeks. Grey blending and men’s grey blending may allow a softer schedule because the goal is not always 100% coverage. We will help you find a cadence that works for your hair and your life.

  • Full grey coverage: typically every 4–6 weeks to keep the line of demarcation invisible
  • Grey blending: often every 6–10 weeks, since softer grow-out is part of the look
  • Men’s grey blending: flexible timing, calibrated to grow out naturally
  • Between visits: a gloss refresh can extend your color and add shine without full reprocessing

What is the difference between grey coverage and grey blending?
Grey coverage aims for fuller coverage, designed to cover grey more completely. Grey blending softens the contrast between grey and colored hair without eliminating the grey entirely. The result looks natural, grows out more gracefully, and typically allows more flexibility in how often you come in. Which is right depends on how much of your grey you want to see and how often you want to maintain it.
My greys are resistant and won’t hold color. Can you help?
Yes. Resistant grey, particularly coarse, wiry, or high-percentage grey, requires a specific approach: the right developer strength, formula concentration, and in some cases a pre-softening step before color is applied. We handle this routinely and will formulate specifically for your hair’s texture and resistance level.
How often will I need to come in for a root retouch?
Full grey coverage clients typically return every 4–6 weeks depending on how fast their hair grows and how visible their regrowth is. Grey blending clients often have more flexibility. Every 6–10 weeks is common because a softer grow-out is intentional. Your stylist will help you set a schedule that works for your lifestyle and budget.
Will the color look too dark or artificial?
This is one of the most common concerns we hear, and it is a valid one. Color that is too dark, too flat, or too uniform can age you in the wrong direction. We formulate with your natural undertones and current skin tone in mind, and we never go darker than the result calls for. The goal is healthy, believable color that flatters you as you are now.
Is there a natural-looking option that does not look obviously colored?
Absolutely. Grey blending and demi-permanent formulas are specifically designed to reduce grey without producing a flat, over-saturated result. For men especially, we calibrate the formula to blend rather than eliminate. The goal is for the finish to look soft and believable.
Do you offer ammonia-free options for grey coverage?
Yes. We have gentle ammonia-free formulas that still provide meaningful coverage, without strong odor or scalp irritation. They work particularly well for demi-permanent blending services. If you have scalp sensitivity, let us know at your consultation and we will select accordingly.

Ready when you are.

Not sure where to start?
That is what consultations are for.

Whether you want fuller coverage, a softer blend, or just want to talk through your options, we will help you find the approach that fits your hair, your schedule, and your life.
